Even as a child, I was always drawing cut out figures and characters for my family and classmates. I got my first taste of animation while studying illustration at RISD, and there was no turning back. There was a whole world out there in animation where anything is possible. After getting my MFA at CalArts I entered the burgeoning field of animation doing children’s games.

Now, many sketchbooks later, I’ve expanded my animation to include kinetic text and motion graphics, all with the same fluidity I like to use in my traditional work. My clients include those in a range of industries, from the education to the financial. I I love taking on creative projects and enjoy helping clients make their products more engaging.

My work includes promotional videos for products and companies, illustrations for science and activity books, and graphics and movies for events. I’ve also produced multiple award-winning films. It’s this experience in independent filmmaking that has given me the skills to direct projects, from storyboarding thorough editing – on budget.
